Frequently Asked Questions

We have found that we are often asked the same types of questions very frequently, so have attempted to put together a list of those questions and their answers. If your question is still not answered, please use the contact form or simply give us a call at (614) 314-0298.

What is a buyer's premium?

Simply put, a buyer’s premium is an amount added to the high bid to determine the final contract price. For example, on a $100 high bid, the buyer’s premium will be $10, making the total for that item $110. We do charge a buyer’s premium at most auctions.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept Cash, Visa and Mastercard at our auctions. We do not accept checks of any sort.

How do I bid at an auction?

Upon arrival at the auction, simply visit our cashier’s area to obtain your bid number. You will need to present your state issued identification. As the auctioneer is calling for bids, simply hold up your bid number so that the auctioneer can see you. If you can’t understand the bid increments, please ask the auctioneer or bid assistant “how much”. They will make\\ sure you are able to clearly identify the amount current bid, and the amount being asked for. We invite your questions and want your participation in the auction!

Please remember that once you have placed a bid that it is a verbal contract between you and the auctioneer. If you are the high bidder and the auctioneer declares the item sold to you, it is then your responsibility to secure that item and pay for it.
